Infant clothing, designed and made in one building
The company designs and manufactures clothing for infants and babies. The range is knitted — bodysuits, sleepers, rompers, dungarees, sweatshirts, joggers, dresses, sets, hats, bibs and blankets — and it is built on four fabric families that the factory holds as standing qualities.
Design and development sit in the same building as the sample room, the cutting floor and the sewing lines. That matters for a buyer: a fit correction does not have to travel between a design office and a contractor, because they are the same organisation on the same site.
The company's stated mission is to supply safe, comfortable and well-made clothing for infants and babies at a competitive price. That is a common sentence in this industry; what is less common is publishing the evidence behind the safety part of it, which is what the certifications page attempts to do.
Guided by market demand, built on a knitting floor
The development team works from parenting pain points and current fashion trends rather than from a catalogue of past seasons — which is why the range runs from pointelle newborn layering through to French terry outerwear and bamboo summer dresses.
Product development
Pattern making, grading and sampling in-house. Blocks for the four fabric families are maintained and adapted rather than redrawn.
Fabric and trim sourcing
Knitted qualities sourced from mills in Henan and the surrounding textile belt, with swatches and lab dips approved before bulk.
Quality and safety control
Inline and end-line inspection, final AQL, small-parts pull testing and needle detection to the order specification.
Exhibitions and buyer meetings
Aston Garment exhibits at international trade fairs and meets buyers face to face — which is still how most first orders start.
