In an OEM engagement the design work is already done. You arrive with a tech pack — flat sketches, measurements, construction notes, fabric and trim callouts — and the job is to turn that document into garments that measure the same in the first shipment and the fifth.
That makes OEM work a discipline of document control rather than invention. Our job is to read the pack carefully, raise anything ambiguous before cutting, produce a counter-sample, and then hold the approved sample as the reference for every subsequent lot.
What we need from you
- A tech pack with flat sketches, a measurement table in your own size range, and construction and finishing notes.
- Fabric specification — composition, weight and either a mill reference or a swatch. If you have neither, we will propose options.
- Trims and branding: labels, care labels, hang tags, buttons, zips, drawcords, packaging.
- Your size range and how you want it graded, plus any reference sample you already own.
What we do with it
- Pattern making and grading from the tech pack, then a counter-sample for your approval before bulk.
- Fabric and trim sourcing against the callouts, with swatches and lab dips sent for sign-off.
- Bulk cutting, sewing, inline and end-line inspection, needle detection, pressing, packing.
- Export documentation and dispatch, with the approved sample retained as the reference for the next order.

OEM Manufacturing — what buyers ask
What if our tech pack is incomplete?
It usually is, at least the first time. We read it against our own pattern-room checklist and send back a list of the gaps — a missing grade rule, an unspecified seam allowance, a trim with no supplier. You fill the gaps, or we propose a default and you approve it in writing. What we do not do is guess and then discover the problem at the inspection table.
Can you work from a physical sample instead of a tech pack?
Yes. A well-made reference sample can be measured, reverse-patterned and turned into a specification we send back to you for approval. It is slower than working from a pack, and the resulting specification is ours rather than yours, which matters if you later move the style to another factory.
Do you keep our patterns and blocks?
Yes, and they stay yours. Patterns, blocks and markers developed against your tech pack are not used for any other customer.
